The Vision

On more than one occasion during the negotiation of the sale, the previous owners spoke of folks from around the country expressing an interest in having a SHUCKS! location near their home. As the first year of new ownership comes to a close it has become obvious of the potential of expansion of the SHUCKS! concept. The new owners’ philosophy has always been “a little of something is better than a lot of nothing”.

As David and Bert desire to maintain complete ownership of the Abbeville location, both are open to minority positions over all additional locations of SHUCKS! in the future. Both are committed to promoting the authenticity of Cajun food and Cajun culture.

David and Bert are seeking individuals that desire to enter into a partnership or some other business relationship for the expansion of SHUCKS! Seafood Houses across the United States. One patron suggested the expansion plan should map out all Red Lobster Restaurants in the US and then strategically place SHUCKS! within a couple of blocks. No matter what the plan one thing is for certain, this country is ready for the SHUCKS! experience. After all if Red Lobster can be in Times Square so can SHUCKS!
